Painting technique and language

Technique in painting means, how well you execute your language, it does not mean how realistic you can make thing appear!

Technique is a vehicle for language, not a substitute. Unfortunately there are many examples of art today where technical prowess, is interpreted as, how realistic you can make things appear, and is used as a way to hide the lack of coherent language.

Language in painting is the vehicle for communication. Communication requires coherency or else it becomes babble!
